Recent visitors to the Bath House included a group of elite amateur golfers led by world renowned golf identity Ramsay McMaster.

Ramsay, who is based in Dandenong Road, Carnegie, hails from Scotland originally, and is one of the world’s very few genuine golf specific physiotherapists. The 26 young champions, seen here in somewhat relaxed mode, were in the midst of a demanding ‘boot camp’ run by Ramsay on behalf of the Victorian Institute of Sport at Moonah Links.

The students, who come from Australia, Korea and New Zealand, had just completed two days of vigorous running up and down the sand dunes at Portsea, and found the hot springs pools just the right thing to relax.

Turkish Steam Bath Opens

The Turkish Steam Bath has opened and is available for use in the Bath House bathing centre between the opening hours of 7:30 am till 10 pm daily.

In coming weeks our spa staff are being trained by a Turkish practitioner in traditional hamam treatments. It will then be possible to receive the complete experience. Educational sessions will also be available during which you, your partner and friends can be taught how to treat each other to this very special practice.

If you would like to be among the first to try a treatment or have an interest in booking in for an educational session we are starting a list. Please e-mail us at relax@peninsulahotsprings.com and put in the header "Hamam Turkish Steam Bath - Interested in Treatments and/or Education". We will then send you an e-mail with details when we are ready to begin.

A luxurious addition to the many cultural styles of bathing already available at Peninsula Hot Springs.

Now in our third year of operation, the word is most certainly out about the Peninsula Hot Springs bathing experience. It's a good idea to ring ahead and check numbers if you're visiting at weekends, public holidays and during school holidays as we cap the number of bathers at any one time to 70 in the public bathing area. If demand is greater than 70 we have a waiting list which can be up to two or three hours on busy weekends.

PENINSULA Hot Springs has added $60 'Pasta and Bathe' Tuesday nights to its weekly calendar of events to help meet strong demand for its unique 'Dine and Bathe' offering.
The Springs launched the 'Dine and Bathe' concept mid last year with Friday nights from 6pm to 9pm set aside for this package. The package was then offered on Saturday nights also. Often both nights are now booked out up to two weeks in advance.
