Terms & Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions to avoid disappointment.

General

1. Peninsula Hot Springs reserves the right to change prices without notice.

Gift certificates

1. Certificates must be redeemed by the expiry date.
2. Certificates will be deemed void if notice of cancellation of a booking is not received at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time, or the holder of the certificate fails to arrive at the appointment.
3. Certificates may not be redeemed for cash.
4. Certificates may be redeemed any day of the week, unless otherwise stipulated.
5. Certificates are tranferrable and can be redeemed for retail products, bathing passes or purchases in the cafe.
6. Certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
7. Expired certificates hold no value.

Bath House bathing bookings

1. Booking is for Bath House Public bathing only.
2. Please remember to bring your bathers and a pair of slip on shoes such as thongs or sandals.
3. Children (under 16 years old) must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children under 16 can access all Bath House bathing areas from 7:30am - 10am. After 10am a number of thermal pools in the Bathing gully are reserved as quiet adult only bathing areas.
4. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your booking will be charged 100% of the total payment.
5. Cancellations made at least 24 hours before your booking will be given a full refund.
6. 'No show' bookings will be charged the full payment. Arriving more than 30 minutes after your bathing start time is considered a 'no show'.
7. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your booking start time. No refunds will be available if you fail to arrive at your nominated bathing time.
8. Any discounts or concessions will be processed upon arrival after the relevant proof has been presented.
9. You must present your relevant concession card on arrival or additional charges may apply.
10. Payment of your booking is deemed to be acknowledgement of these terms and conditions.

Membership offers

1. Massage and Bathe Memberships entitle you to massage vouchers and private bath vouchers. These are issued separately.
2. Vouchers can be used any day of the week.
3. Vouchers are not valid beyond the validity date written on them.
4. When membership ceases, for any reason, all outstanding vouchers expire.
5. Expired vouchers hold no value.
6. No reimbursement of vouchers is possible.
7. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.
8. Please keep the vouchers in a safe place as they cannot be replaced.
9. Public bathing passes are not transferable.
10. The year is defined as 12 calendar months commencing from the first day of the month in which you choose to redeem your first membership voucher.
11. If membership ceases, for any reason, all outstanding certificates are void.

 

Corporate memberships

1. Each membership is entitled to one fully transferable daily access pass to the public Bath House. To gain access either the Corporate Membership Pass must be shown or advance notice of their arrival be sent by an authorized representative of the company.
2. Fifty two massage passes will be issued prior to the commencement of you membership year. Each pass must be used at least three months after the expiry of the membership year.
3. Fifty two private bathing passes will be issued prior to the commencement of your membership year. Each pass must be used at least three months after the expiry of the membership year.

 

Lost property

1. Many possessions are left at Peninsula Hot Springs each day. While we do our best to return them, it may be difficult to identify or contact the owner.
2. Our policy on retaining lost property, pending inquiry from the owner, is as follows:

  • Items with an estimated retail value greater than $500 are kept for three months;
  • Items with an estimated retail value $100 to $500 are kept for one month;
  • Items with an estimated retail value less than $100 are kept for one week.

When the holding time expires we donate the goods to a local charity.

Retail

1. Retail products will not be sent to Post Office Box addresses.
2. Staff will need to verify large purchases prior to delivery.
3. Peninsula Hot Springs aims to achieve delivery within five working days from purchase, however factors outside our control may impact this.
4. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any product, please return it to us in original condition (product opened cannot be returned) together with the original receipt within 7 days of purchase and we will replace or refund your purchase using the original payment method for the amount paid.
5. Postage charges on returns are not refundable.
