Warm water exercise classes
Held in our aquatherapy pool, join in on one of the Mornington Peninsula's only warm water exercise class to help tone your muscles and improve your overall fitness. The class will include gentle exercises using resistance equipment with no impact on your joints.
Complimentary 45 minute warm water aerobic exercise classes are held every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 7:45am with Bath House bathing entry.
We recommend that you arrive early as classes are limited to 10 guests. Please also bring a bottle of water with you.
*Warm water exercise classes are not held during school holidays or on public holidays.
A recent study conducted by Arthritis and Osteoporosis Victoria and the Health Services Research Unit at Monash University, was to systematically review the literature to determine the evidence base
The study topic is 'Best practice evidence for warm water exercise for people with musculoskeletal conditions: A systematic review of the literature 2014'
There is anecdotal evidence of the benefits of warm water exercise, as well as an increasing number of studies reporting the positive impacts of warm water exercise for people with musculoskeletal conditions. However there is a lack of high quality evidence to substantiate the benefits of warm water exercise. Read the full report.
