Brook said “what excites me most is that Peninsula Hot Springs is a beautiful and unique product which has a positive effect on people’s lives. I look forward to providing a greater focus on wellness at Peninsula Hot Springs over the coming years”.
Charles Davidson, CEO of the hot springs said he is “looking forward to working with Brook in providing a unique attraction that delivers exceptional health and wellbeing outcomes for our customers and staff”.
Peninsula Hot Springs employs over 230 employees ranging from spa therapists, cooks, electricians, pool attendants, accountants, reservationists and gardeners. There are numerous managerial, supervisor, casual and permanent roles.
Each quarter, Peninsula Hot Springs celebrates the team member of the quarter amongst its employees. Staff are encouraged to vote for their colleagues who have demonstrated a commitment to providing exceptional customer service whilst also demonstrating a great team work attitude. The evening is designed to recognise and reward our top performers who have been voted by their peers. It is also an opportunity for all employees to get together in a social environment and get to know their fellow employees from across all departments.
Sue Henderson from the food and beverage team was voted the team member of the quarter for July and her colleagues commented to say what a pleasure she was to work with, how hard she worked and what an incredibly infectious happy disposition she had. When reflecting on the award win, Sue said “I felt so overwhelmed and appreciated. I teared up when it was announced, it was such a surprise and honour”. Sue also shared that she “loves working at the hot springs with such a wonderful team, everyone is so friendly, it is like one big family”.
