Enhance your bathing experience with a yoga class
We are delighted to announce that we will be offering two complimentary yoga classes a week with Bath House bathing commencing on the 8th January 2018.
Yoga helps keep the body strong and flexible, calms the mind and promotes an overall feeling of health and wellbeing. Now you have the opportunity to combine the health benefits of yoga, with the healing qualities of bathing in natural, mineral hot springs.
Enjoy a yoga class set in the natural surrounds of Peninsula Hot Springs, where noises from the wildlife will surround you to help clear the mind as you flow through the poses. After your class continue your relaxed state by soaking in the geothermal pools of the Bath House bathing area, invigorate your body and mind by enjoying some hot cold therapy in the sauna and cold plunge pool. Or simply explore the grounds, grab a healthy snack from the cafe and relax by taking in the natural surrounds.
To participate in a class you simply need to book Bath House bathing on that day and enquire at reception on arrival, giving yourself time to unwind before the class starts. The yoga classes are open level classes, all levels are welcome. Mats will be provided, we recommend wearing sunscreen and bringing a drink bottle with you to stay hydrated during the class. Please note that the classes are weather dependent, please check with reception upon arrival if you are unsure.

Jane studied Ashtanga-Vinyasa in India and Yin in Australia and is passionate about honouring yoga’s spiritual and philosophical aspects. Her Vinyasa Flow classes are a playground in which to explore posts of the mind as well as the body, and she enjoys helping people at all stages of their yoga journey to better inhabit themselves. Jane’s mission is to encourage others to lead more balanced and spacious lives.
Join Sonja from Honestly Yoga every Friday at 8am
Sonja is a highly regarded certified Peninsula based yoga instructor, teaching vinyasa flow yoga with over 20 years of personal practice. When you join Sonja on the mat you will be led through a creative and unique vinyasa flow style yoga class, with a strong flow element where the yoga poses are synchronised with the breath. Expect a well-rounded yoga practice beginning with sun salutations, to open the body slowly, followed by standing, seated and some twist postures. The class ends with calming postures and meditation to create stillness in the mind and a relaxed state through the body. You will leave feeling deeply nourished, stretched and revitalized.
