NAIDOC Week 2019
It’s time again for one of our favourite weeks of the year: NAIDOC Week.
NAIDOC Week, which runs from July 7 – 14, is an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. Here at the springs we’re celebrating by programming a week of immersive performances, experiences and activities with our First Nations friends.
This year’s theme is “Voice. Treaty. Truth”, which are three key elements in the Uluru Statement from the Heart. NAIDOC Week 2019 is all about bringing forth and truly hearing the voices and collective voice of Indigenous peoples and working together for a shared future.
