Peninsula Hot Springs is the first natural hot springs & day spa centre in Victoria around 1.5Hrs from Melbourne. Natural thermal mineral waters flow into the pools and private baths providing the idyllic setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. Peninsula Hot Springs makes it possible to bathe in the naturally healing waters of mineral rich thermal pools.

Like the historic and famous spa centres of Europe, Asia, the Americas and New Zealand, the natural hot springs in Rye on the Mornington Peninsula bring the blissful and healthy pleasure of 'taking the waters' to the people.

Cool pools

Please note that on any hot days throughout summer we will run some cool pools.

 

New Bath House open

Our new Bath House and pools have been open since early December 2009. Fourteen new features and pools are in use now, including special baths and barrels for babies and small children, a family pool with a safe shallow entry, a deep exercise pool, a moon viewing pool, lake view pool, a foot bath,  lakeside bubble spa couch, sauna, cold plunge pool, massage chairs and a spacious relaxation room.

By the end of February the new reflexology pool will be operational providing a self administered natual health treatment while you bathe. During the following months we will be progressively bringing  on line a number of exciting new features. These include a cave pool, a Turkish steam bath,  foot and hand baths, and a hill top pool with spectacular 360 degree views… in total there will be 39 new bathing experiences added to the extensive relaxation offerings at Peninsula Hot Springs.

Extended opening hours

Peninsula Hot Springs now has extended opening hours:
7.30am to 10pm

Early bird bathing times: 7.30am to 10am

Twilight bathing times: 7pm to 10pm

The earlier opening time enables a relaxing bathe before work for peninsula locals and short stay visitors.
 The move to later evening hours is in response to feedback from our clients who describe the atmospherics at night as 'magical'.
Please be aware that guests are requested to leave the pools 20 minutes before the facility closing time.
