Celebrating World Wellness Weekend

Here at Peninsula Hot Springs, we have always been about helping people connect with the deep well of their being. What better way to celebrate the launch of our new Bath House Amphitheatre than with World Wellness Weekend?
On Saturday, 22nd and Sunday, 23rd September, guests will be immersed in a unique program of experiences with our wellness journey and bathe package (available this weekend only). Our program will include everything from yoga and Pilates classes to sound bathing meditation; body clay workshops to forest bathing walks; tea ceremonies to demonstrations in our new ‘Fire & Ice’ area.
Event attendees will be among the first to enjoy the cutting-edge new facilities which include seven new hot spring pools; a ‘Fire and Ice’ area comprising two 30-person saunas, an Ice Cave, Deep Freeze, cold plunge pool and ice plunge pool; Amphitheatre open-air stage and Wellness Centre. There will be free live music on our Amphitheatre stage and healthy treats for sale in our new Amphitheatre cafe.

Mind-Body Classes
Mat Pilates
Our Wellness Ambassador Steph Prem, is leading this introductory class is designed to focus on developing your core strength through gentle toning exercises.
Reformer Pilates
Led by Steph Prem and performed on reformer machines, this class uses the resistance of the reformer beds to create a more dynamic and intense workout for the whole body.
Vinyasa Yoga
A Peninsula Hot Springs instructor will be taking this yoga class, which will cater to beginners and experienced practitioners alike, and is designed to increase flexibility and strength.
Aerial Yoga
Led by a Peninsula Hot Springs instructor, this class uses silk yoga hammocks that hang from the ceiling, so students can experience a mixture of challenging and restorative poses while suspended from the ceiling.
Hot Spring Yoga (free with Bath House entry)
Held in our new Amphitheatre and led by a Peninsula Hot Springs yoga instructor, join friends and fellow bathers in our custom-designed pools for a yoga class like none other. The class combines the benefits of geothermal bathing with stretching, strengthening and balancing yoga poses.
Sound Bathing (free with Bath House entry)
Lie back and listen to the healing vibrations of Peninsula Hot Springs’ soundtrack ‘Water: An Australian Story’ through our underwater speakers. An experience not to be missed.
Meditation Workshop – Sound Healing
Connect with your deeper self and discover the healing benefits of sound with a meditation practice led by Mona Ruijs, who will facilitate an immersive sound experience with gongs, quartz crystal bowls, Himalayan singing bowls and various sound tools that are designed to induce states of profound physical relaxation, meditation and general wellbeing.

Everyday Wellness: Dealing with everyday stress
Hear from wellness leader, founder of leading health retreats Camp Eden, the Golden Door and Cabarita Ocean Health Retreat and Peninsula Hot Springs General Manager Brook Ramage on simple stress-reducing strategies that can be incorporated into our daily lives.
Tea Workshop
Escape into the world of tea with Organic India as you discover the healing benefits of Tulsi (sacred basil) with a tea ceremony.
Extreme Bathing
Join Professor Marc Cohen, who works closely with cold therapy pioneer Wim Hof, as he explores the art and science of hot and cold therapy.
Guided Walks
Forest Bathing Walk
Learn to walk more mindfully through the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku. Studies have shown that walking through nature in a slow and meditative way has remarkable benefits, as trees have been found to emit essential oils that help boost immunity and lower adrenaline, among other benefits.
Indigenous Cultural Walk
Learn about bush tucker and bush medicine from Gunditjmara Kirrae Wurrung–Bundjalung man, Lionel Lauch, then connect more deeply with the land through a didgeridoo meditation in our purpose-built Cultural Meeting Space.
Bathing Workshops
Warm Water Exercise (free with Bath House entry)
Join our trained instructor in a guided routine of gentle exercises specifically designed to increase mobility and flexibility, while being supported by geothermal mineral water.
Global Bathing Journey
An epic journey into the bathing cultures and traditions from around the world that have inspired the creation of Peninsula Hot Springs, including Reflexology, Hamam, ‘Fire & Ice’ and more.
Fire & Ice Workshop
Be invigorated by the powers of hot and cold therapy in our state-of-the-art saunas and Ice Cave. You will learn and experience the key health benefits through guidance by trained instructors.
Sauna Workshop
Inspired by the traditions of Nordic cultures, this introductory experience delves into some of the history and rituals of sauna in our new custom-designed facilities.
Body Clay Workshop
Immerse yourself in the earth and listen to the stories of our Clay Masters while absorbing nature’s minerals in their purest form. Cover yourself in mineral-rich clay, dry yourself by our fire pit and then rinse off in our thermal mineral showers.
Arts & Entertainment
Live Music (free with Bath House entry)
Relax in our Amphitheatre while immersed in a pool or lounging on the lawn as local musicians add some of their own notes to nature’s soundscape.
Bathe-In Cinema (free with Bath House entry)
Luxuriate in our geothermal pools with your friends under starry night skies and enjoy Eat, Pray, Love on the big screen.
