Summer invites a gentler rhythm—longer days, open spaces and time to reconnect.
Throughout the warmer months, Peninsula Hot Springs welcomes families to slow down, play and share meaningful moments together through a series of relaxed, nature-led experiences designed for all ages. Discover our program below and enjoy both paid and complimentary activities as part of the school holidays.
outdoor lawn games at the food bowl
Across the school holiday period, the Food Bowl lawn becomes a place for easy connection. Outdoor lawn games offer children space to move and play, while parents unwind nearby, allowing families to settle into the unhurried pace of the springs.
family body clay sessions
Our much-loved Family Body Clay sessions return throughout summer, held every Wednesday and Thursday at 10am and 11am. These hands-on experiences invite families to engage in creative ritual and playful connection, using natural body clay as a medium for expression and shared presence.
Led by Peninsula Hot Springs team member Mandy alongside yoga instructor Amy Finerty, these sessions are designed specifically for families and do not include guided meditation, ensuring an accessible and inclusive experience for children. Sessions are priced at $10 per child and $20 per adult.

family bathing trail
Families are encouraged to explore the bathing landscape together using our Family Bathing Trail Map. Designed to guide discovery across the site, the trail invites movement, curiosity and mindful moments, creating opportunities for shared exploration at your own pace. Maps will be available at reception, with supporting signage throughout the springs.
guided sound bathing journey
On weekends throughout January, guests can take part in our complimentary Guided Sound Bathing Journey, held at 9am, 10am and 11am. Best suited to older children and adults, this calming morning experience offers a gentle entry into the day through sound, story and stillness.
Beginning at the Bath House lake, the guided walking journey unfolds across seven immersive soundscapes from the WATER album, each inspired by spa precepts and the elements of water, space, culture, earth, time, stars and creativity. Guests are invited into deep listening, cultural reflection and connection to place, meeting at the northern terrace near the Bath House entry.
Together, these experiences offer families a simple and joyful way to spend time together—grounded in nature, guided by ritual and shaped by moments of shared presence throughout summer at the springs.
