celebrate world bathing day 2020 at the springs
Peninsula Hot Springs is pleased to support World Bathing Day in it’s third year, on Monday 22nd June 2020. An initiative of the Bathe the World Foundation, World Bathing Day is an international celebration of water and the diverse rituals and cultural traditions associated with the act of bathing and cleansing. The day will commence with our iconic sunrise ritual at Hilltop pool and flow throughout the day with a program of hot springs yoga and live music in our Bath House Amphitheatre.
join us on socials for our sunrise ceremony
We will be marking the rise of the sun on World Bathing Day with a private musical performance by Marty Williams at our Hilltop Pool from 7:40am. To view this ceremony live from Hilltop Pool, head to our Instagram story.
hot springs yoga
Join us at 9am and 3:30pm in our Amphitheatre for an early morning flow in our custom-pools for a yoga class like no other. The class combines the benefits of geothermal bathing with stretching, strengthening and balancing yoga poses. Complimentary with Bath House bathing.
In addition to our global bathing experiences, we will be hosting local artists on our Bath House Amphitheatre to entertain you with soothing sounds. Sit back and float away to the sounds of the peninsula with our underwater speakers.
Peninsula Chamber Musicians
Join us from 11am – 11:45am for the tranquil sounds of Megan Smithies on cello and Anthony McGarrigle on classical guitar.
Join us from 1pm – 2pm for the earthy tones of singer-songwriter Tim Stout.
