Peninsula Hot Springs has been recognised as a leader in its field, winning the award for ‘Best Tourist Attraction’ at the prestigious RACV Victorian Tourism Awards held in Melbourne on October 27th, 2014. As this is the third time winning the award, Peninsula Hot Springs have also been inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Peninsula Hot Springs Charles Davidson was thrilled with the result; “We are honoured to have been recognised once again by the Victorian tourism community. It is a reflection of the passion and clear vision of the entire team at the hot springs. It is another step and a new milestone in the evolution of the Peninsula Hot Springs story.” Halls Gap Zoo and Hedgend Maze were amongst the finalists in the most highly contested tourist attraction category.

The RACV Victorian Tourism Awards celebrate businesses in Victoria which strive for tourism excellence. The awards provide an industry framework for peer recognition which fosters a culture for business excellence and innovation.

The Mornington Peninsula region showcased its talents with eight winners and two as finalists in a diverse range of categories from transport, tourism experiences, accommodation, food and eco-tourism. The Frankston Visitor Information Centre also joins Peninsula Hot Springs in being inducted to the Hall of Fame.

“It’s a close-knit community and we all support one another to create a truly unique tourism experience for visitors to the (Mornington) Peninsula. I’m proud to be part of an industry that makes such a significant contribution to our local economy.” said Mr Davidson.

Peninsula Hot Springs is the first natural hot springs and day spa centre in Victoria, just over an hour’s drive from Melbourne. Natural thermal mineral waters flow from deep underground into the pools and private baths, providing the idyllic setting for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Peninsula Hot Springs is now set to contest in the National Tourism Awards in Adelaide in April 2015.
