Launching our summer wellness activities 2016/17
Enjoy a range of weekly wellness activities when bathing in the Bath House at Peninsula Hot Springs including yoga, warm water exercise classes and the global bathing journey.
Our summer season of activities will commence on the 1st December and run until the end of March 2017. All of these classes are complimentary with Bath House bathing.
Warm water exercise classes
Held in our aqua therapy pool, the warm water exercise class will help tone your muscles and improve your overall fitness. The class will include gentle exercises using resistance equipment with no impact on your joints. The 45 minute classes are held every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday morning at 7:45am. Find out more.
Yoga helps keep the body strong and flexible, calms the mind and promotes an overall feeling of health and wellbeing. Now you have the opportunity to combine the health benefits of yoga, with the healing qualities of bathing in natural, mineral hot springs. The 60 minute classes are held every Tuesday at 8am, Friday at 6pm and Saturday at 11am over the Summer 2016/17.
global bathing journey
During this global bathing journey you will gain a deeper understanding of the history and indigenous connection to the land, as well as the benefits of geothermal bathing. You will relax on the bubble couch, enjoy a foot massage on the reflexology walk, experience the traditional Turkish Hamam, cool down in the plunge pool, warm up in the Swedish sauna and finish with a massage under the thermal mineral showers. The classes are held every Wednesday morning at 8am in the Bath House and at 5:30pm in the Spa Dreaming Centre (please note that the 5:30pm class will require a package which includes Spa Dreaming Centre bathing).
The Bath House cafe will come alive with music performed by a local artist between 6pm – 8pm every Thursday evening.
Enjoy a delicious gourmet pizza from the cafe as you relax in your robe and listen to talented artists perform soothing sounds that will delightfully echo throughout the bathing area.
