R U OK? Day at the hot springs
On Thursday, 13th September, $2 from every Bath House entry will be donated to the R U OK? organisation. Guests will be greeted by our friendly staff wearing yellow R U OK? t-shirts, and can further their contribution by purchasing a $2 yellow wristband that can be worn while bathing. There will also be live music from local musician Marty Williams on our Bath House cafe stage from 11am – 11.45am and 2pm – 2.45pm.
All of this is to remind each other and ourselves how important it is to perform the simple act of checking in with a friend or loved one, and to keep the communication lines open. We are inviting our wider community to become part of R U OK? Day in recognition of the hot springs as a place that fosters mindfulness and human connection, and as part of our continued commitment to improve mental health in Australia.

So come along with a friend on September 13 and help us raise awareness of this important initiative — a day spent having a meaningful conversation while immersed in nature could be just what you or they need.
