As the school holidays beckon, escape the winter chill with a rejuvenating experience to Peninsula Hot Springs.

Immerse yourself in the healing geothermal waters of natural our hot springs, surrounded by the breathtaking Mornington Peninsula landscape. With steaming pools, new activities and a selection of engaging wellness activities experiences, the Springs promises to provide an opportunity to unwind, and recharge these school holidays.

With our school holiday program, be swept away with the magic of movies with during our Thursday night Bathe in Cinema, sit back and be serenaded by live music in our Bath House Café, or have fun exploring the grounds with the kids in our new Animal Discovery activity, there’s something for everyone to enjoy these holidays.

week one

Monday 26 June – Sunday 2 July

Animal Discovery

Our newest adventure for kids to explore the grounds. Have fun scouring the Springs to try and spot our 9 hidden animal sculptures. Worksheets to be collected from Pink Fairies Glasshouse in the Food Bowl.

Native Plant Discovery

Enjoy exploring our Food Bowl in search for 10 different native plants, safe to eat - but we ask you leave this to our chefs! Worksheets to be collected from Pink Fairies Glasshouse in the Food Bowl.

Bathe in Cinema

Soak under the stars as we screen Blueback, a cinematic experience about protecting our environment and coast reefs. Screening from 6:30pm, finish your bathing experience with a cinema experience unique to Peninsula Hot Springs. View full Bathe in Cinema program here.

Sunday Sessions

Unwind with a relaxing soak in our thermal mineral waters and then head to our Bath House Café for soothing Sunday afternoon tunes. Enjoy a performance by Pete Miller on Sunday 2nd of July from 2-5pm.

week two – NAIDOC week

Naidoc Week Opening Ceremony

Ganga Giri will perform an opening ceremony, Acknowledgement of Country at the Bath House Amphitheatre Stage on Sunday 2nd July from 5.30-7pm.

Sunday Sessions

Unwind with a relaxing soak in our thermal mineral waters and then head to our Bath House Café for soothing Sunday afternoon tunes. Enjoy a performance by Mijo Biscan on Sunday 9 of July from 2-5pm.

Bathe in Cinema

Soak under the stars as we screen First Nations film ‘Wash my soul in the river’s flow’, a cinematic experience that celebrates country and culture, resilience, and family. Screening from 6:30pm, finish your bathing experience with a cinema experience unique to Peninsula Hot Springs. View full winter program here.

Boonwurrung Storytelling

This storytelling experience is a NAIDOC week special with Aunty Faye for children aged 4-8 years on Tuesday 4 July, 10am, 11.30am or 1pm at the Pink Fairies Glasshouse in the Food Bowl.

Earth Loom Weaving & Nature Mandala Workshop

Embark on a creative workshop to celebrate NAIDOC week with Alicia Langford on Thursday 6 July, 10am–12pm at the Pink Fairies Glasshouse in the Food Bowl.

Nature Craft Workshop

Opt for an engaging craft workshop with Mandy Williams on Friday 7 July, 10am–12pm Pink Fairies Glasshouse in the Food Bowl.

Clay Echidna Workshop

Get creative alongside your children or friends with Sammy Trist on Friday 7 July, 10am and 11.15am at the Fire & Ice Dome.

Movement Class 7:30am

Find balance as you flow between various poses modified to differing levels of skill or find strength with an expert instructor. Suitable for all levels of strength, flexibility and experience, be part of an early morning movement class to set the tone of the day.

Sauna Infusion 9:30am

Our newest winter wellness experience, Sauna Infusion. During a 45 minute workshop, be guided through heat therapy as you begin to feel the powerful benefits of sauna bathing – an ancient tradition gaining global popularity as a lifestyle practice designed to invigorate both body and mind.

Nourish Workshop 11am

Immerse yourself in a paddock-to-plate experience as you learn of the importance of eating locally sourced and seasonal produce, general nutrition and the significance of mindful eating in our everyday. In a 75-minute Peninsula Hot Springs workshop, you will be provided with the tools to help you start living an authentic and holistic wellness lifestyle.

Discovery Tour 11:45am

Go on a 30-minute guided tour with a member of our Land & Environment team, who will educate you on what inspired the development of our newest space, the Food Bowl. See what’s growing in view of the beautiful Mornington Peninsula landscape before enjoying some morning tea in the Glasshouse.

Body Clay Ritual 1pm

Discover the powerful benefits of when geothermal water and natural Australian Clay combine to form a rich paste. From a selection of four clays, be guided on their unique benefits and begin to feel the invigorating effects for yourself as you use them directly on your skin in our Clay Ridge landscape.

Tea Ceremony 3pm

This winter, we are reintroducing our Tea Ceremony, performed in our Sensory Dome. During the experience, your facilitator will mindfully prepare and pour tea for you, and you will be invited to pause, wrap your hands around your warming cup of tea and ground yourself in the present moment.
